Thanks to a special arrangement with the Foreign Policy Association in New York City, World Affairs Council members have the opportunity to participate in a lively discussion on international topics as part of our Great Decisions series.

Each month during our program year (September through June), thanks to the efforts and initiative of Professor John Browning from 5 – 6 PM preceding each of our dinner meetings, you can:

The Great Decision series, produced by the non-partisan Foreign Policy Association and aired on public television by PBS, takes a comprehensive look at the ten most critical world affairs issues of the coming year through the lens of their impact on America and what they mean to you.

“Everyone has been at a dinner party or even just watching the news, where they had some of the facts on a topic, but wished they understood the bigger picture,” says MacDara King, executive producer of the series. “We hope Great Decisions reminds people that you don’t need to be a political scientist to understand world affairs and foreign policy that affect us every day.”
